Thank you for yet another great pod cast. I was on the same page about the news for sometime now. But I needed to be reminded to keep up my protective shield since there is so much clatter surrounding our current state of affairs. My practice is not to do the television news often. I prefer to get my weather online check, out stories of interest only. I found a awhile back that the news was one depressing story after another, or some grave injustice I could do nothing about. Listening to so much of that I had started to feel depressed about the world’s current state affairs. So I went on a new and TV diet. lol I still watch a few mindless shows to get a giggle like the Big Bang Theory with my 16 year old, and I love BBC productions, Nova, World, basically all PBS has to offer. When I do choose news I will watch the PBS world news. Local news seems a bit drab. May you have a great week also.( So it is ) Ase’

We watched “Wag the Dog” this weekend on our tv screen which receives no television signals, only the movies we select to view. Nevertheless, radio is also chock full of “news” — breaking and otherwise. Thank you for confirmation as to how the public is spoonfed a version of reality created by some gifted and very creative newspeople.

Thanks, again, Trev. I share with you and your listeners/readers The Fifth Agreement from the book of the same title by don Miguel Ruiz and don Jose Ruiz: Be Skeptical and Learn to Listen. I have eschewed TV News for years and get most of my “news” from “independent” sources online, mostly. Yes, I also enjoy Greg Palast and have read Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States. Thank you for pointing out the need to keep our mentality shields on full power.
Blessings to you and your listeners and readers.
