Julia Cameron (‘The Artist’s Way- A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity’ – a seminal work) recommends:
“Leap, and the net will appear.’

    Far better:
    “Leap, sprout wings, and fly.”
No net needed; no falls required or feared. 🙂

I love this! Thank you! A woman of instinct and passion this message rings so true to me. I will continue to peel the onion. Be well!

I feel so joyful and relieved after listening to this podcast. It literally gave me goosebumps. I have been going about it all wrong. Pouring over what kind of work would make me happy, lists of what I enjoy doing, etc. Instead, what is it that frustrates me? What are the things that I care about the most? What things do I wish I could change? Thank you so much Trevor. Thank you, thank you! I look forward to seeing your e-mail in my box and hearing your podcast every Monday morning. Three Simple Steps has made such an important and valuable difference in my life!

  4. Trevor,
This is a great message. It is a message that I should embrace more fully than I do. As a young man I jumped off a number of figurative cliffs and enjoyed the ride. As I have grown older I find myself standing on the cliff edge making all those calculations and then putting off the jump. It seems safer. It is of course an illusion of safety – but it is still the way it feels. This has got me to thinking…. time to revisit those intentions and revisit that cliff.

    Wishing you the best,

    Dan

    Thank You for this.
I have noticed you, and Mr Branson have a lot of similar teachings.
I am also grateful for this podcast. It has helped me in many aspects as a growing entrepreneur.
    Awesome,
    MaCrae

Love this podcast Trevor…It just makes so much sense. I became an entrepreneur because I had to, there didn’t seem to be much choice at the time. I also aimed very high, with a clear idea of what I wanted the outcome to be, but without much of an idea of how I was going to get there.

Life did fill in the gaps, and pave the way, and has taken me to places I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined (actually that’s not true, I always dreamed about them first:)

I’ve reread your book recently, as I am also the builder not the maintainer type, and feel very much in need of a new adventure, and I know if I follow the 3 steps (which I haven’t been doing) the next adventure will appear.
Thanks for these reminders Trevor, they are greatly valued.
    Dy
